How safe are your scaffoldings?
The safety of lives and property is one of the most important considerations when working on a building site. Accidents from falls and falling objects are some of the major causes of construction site fatalities and it is the responsibility of everyone on the site to ensure that the equipment and tools are safe for use.
At Ace Scaffoldings, we take safety very seriously and to this end, we have a policies, guidelines and regulations that control how we work. For example, our workers are mandated to use a safety harness once they get to a particular height to provide safety in the event of a slip and fall. Additionally, our scaffolding comes with grips, guardrails, handrails, stable and slip resistant platforms and user instruction. We also make sure to carry out a risk assessment before the commencement of work in order to identify potential risky areas and deal with them.
We are actively involved in meeting the safety goals of the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and make sure that each and every one of our pieces of equipment is up to the approved HSE standards.
